I’ve been a writer since I could hold a pencil, although not everything I’ve penned (such the epic poem about the Pilgrims completed in fifth grade) reached an audience beyond my mom. Over the years, I’ve written magazine articles for national publications in including Yankee, Reader’s Digest, The Old Farmer’s Almanac, and Down East, on a variety of topics from growing hot peppers to the life of John Philip Sousa. I’ll be posting some of them in the coming months in case your jalapenos need some help!

Last winter, I finished writing a new edition of Moving to Maine, one of Down East Book’s all-time best sellers, and it was published in June. If you’d like to purchase the new and expanded guide to relocating here, click the link on the Moving to Maine page to connect to Down East Book’s website.

What am I working on now? I’m making some time each week to plug away on a suspense novel, and you can bet that Maine and real estate will figure heavily in the plot!
